Prenatal Breastfeeding Education

This class is done in the comfort of your own home-virtually or in person-and will go over what to expect surrounding breastfeeding after baby comes. Please do not tidy up, I am here to support you and baby! We will talk about breastfeeding guidelines, positioning and latch, establishing and maintaining your milk supply and how to take care of yourself postpartum. This course will last 1 to 1.5 hours and includes texting with me for two weeks after our meeting! Location must be within 30 minutes of of Richland, WA or additional travel fees may apply.

Welcome Home Visit

In this visit we will be working through all things feeding baby! I will assess baby’s latch and feeding and we will go through any questions you have through your experiences so far. This visit will last 1 to 1.5 hours and includes texting with me for two weeks after our appointment! Location must be within 30 minutes of of Richland, WA or additional travel fees may apply.

Follow Up Visits

These visits can range from 30 minutes to 1.5 hours and will assess and work through any questions and issues that may arise during your breastfeeding process. These are only available if you have already been through the “Welcome Home Visit” as they are to address specific concerns rather than initial education.

Breastfeeding Package

In this package you will receive all three of the above items! One prenatal visit before baby is born, one welcome home visit to be used in the first two weeks after baby is born and one 1 hour follow up within the first 12 weeks after baby is born. These can be virtual or in person. And includes texting communication for the duration of our time together!

Back to Work

Are you wanting to maintain your milk supply while transitioning back to work? This is a common concern and I am here to help you figure out what is comfortable and attainable as your make that transition. I will talk through needs, your rights and give you information to feel empowered to continue your breastfeeding journey! This will be a 1 to 1.5 hour class and includes texting with me for two weeks after our appointment!

I do not accept insurance, HOWEVER, most insurance policies will reimburse you for your lactation appointments. Please ask me and I am happy to talk you through that process!
